Reality Sets In!

Every time we go to the NICU we get better news! Yesterday the nurse and doctor gave us a "heads up" that Cameron will most likely be home by the end of the week, and Sophia will follow soon after. Our Evan needs more time to grow, but the doctor said he could be home as early as the end of next week! I couldn't stop smiling, but when I turned to Dave he had that deer in the headlights look. I think reality just hit him like a semi going 100 mph!!! The race is on to finish getting things ready at home, but most importantly find a car that all three can fit in!!!

On a personal note, I have successfully nursed all three babies...some better than others. It was no surprise that Evan was the champion nurser, but his brother and sister are learning quickly! I'm not sure how long I can keep it up...my day is already pretty much be set around "milk delivery"-but I'll do it as long as I can because it's so good for them (and of course they are worth it)!

Cameron...his mouth is open 99% of the time...it's like he can't be bothered to close it. He's more and more like his daddy every day!

Evan...our little trooper. Don't let his size fool you...he's above the growing curve right now! He may have some catching up to do, but it won't be hard or take him long!

Sophia...just like her mommy. If you bother her, she'll give you her famous "pouty puss"!
