Just Give Me a Minute...

As you can tell from the increasingly longer stretches between my posts, things have been very busy for the Moran Clan. For those of you who don't already know, I have been working toward my master's degree online. I am way behind with this...considering I've been teaching over a decade, I should already have my master's by now-and would if I were not such a procrastinator. Years ago, while I was still living in Georgia, a group of friends decided to get our master's together. We signed up for classes, took the GRE, and were all set to go. Alas, something fell through with my registration, and like all good procrastinators, I thought, "No big deal, I can do it later." Well, here I am, later, with three toddlers and a full time job. Not the best time to be forced to get my act together. But, I've been chugging along and actually enjoy learning new things. However, this leaves me little time for such luxuries as eating, sleeping, and blogging. But thanks to March coming in like a lion, I have a snow day today, and got some much needed time to catch you up.

The babies are doing fabulous...they get more and more fun every day. Dave and I have been doing our best to keep up with them, but it is difficult. We still like to think of ourselves as twenty-somethings, and never realized how big the difference would be as thirty-somethings. Their favorite games include climbing on any and all furniture, and making mommy and daddy chase them around the house at full speed while shrieking and giggling incessantly. It's a lot more fun than it sounds!

I didn't have much of a February break (three day weekend) but we got the chance to take the babies to Kid City children's museum in Middletown. My mom and I had tried to take the babies one other time, but quickly discovered it was a "one adult per baby" type of place. Thanks to Grammy we got a membership, and got to take full advantage of "members only" mornings. Fun doesn't begin to describe it!

You may notice there are more pictures of Sophia than any other triplet...I promise I am not playing favorites. Since we had a 1.5 baby to adult ratio (Dave and I went with Grammy and Poppo) Sophia and I ventured off together. My mom has more pictures on her camera-I'll post those soon-meaning in a few months:)

Evan and Poppo play with trains...birds of a feather!

Evan is the transportation man-he loves cars, trains, trucks, anything that moves. He'll lie on the floor and play so contently!

Mommy's little helper. Sophia loves to help me put laundry in the hamper, so it's no surprise she loved this "laundry" station!

Quick snack break and then we're off for more fun and learning!

Evan pondering how a little dragon such as himself could ever climb a wall that high...worth a shot!

Sophia checks out her gorgeous self in the "theater room". I need to get some of these dress up clothes-they were like aprons-so easy to get in and out of! Google search, coming up!

Could she be any more precious?

Cam checks out the "big yellow car". Cool!

Building stuff...mommy's little architect.

This "ice cream shop" shot out dry ice fog-the babies thought it was the coolest, but Cam couldn't figure out why he couldn't eat the fog!

Evan and Sophia take care of some egg business.

Cam loves the "cause and effect" game. Usually it involves getting into trouble so mommy and daddy come running, but this time it involved the more harmless act of dropping eggs down a "plinko" type board. So much fun!

My little student.

Sophia is such a big brave girl going down the slide all by herself!

Don't ask me why, but one day we let them play in my car. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Don't worry, the keys aren't in it!

Cameron...aka "trouble" He has taken over the title once possessed by Evan. If there is a dangerous yet fun situation to be found-he is on it! He is under the impression that "NO CAM!" is code for "That was fun-do it again!"

Our new favorite game...playing in a big dirt pile. Thank God for Oxy Clean!

Typical Saturday night at the Moran house. Pizza and a movie...usually one starring Elmo. Funny how things change!

It took me over two hours and two glasses of wine to assemble these cardboard blocks. So worth it!

Sophia loves to build things...too bad her brothers love knocking them down more.

This is the usual view I get while making breakfast. CAUTION-hungry animals in a cage!

Sophia and Evan enjoy a tea party picnic.
