Well, here it is, the day Dave and I have been waiting for! Our first day as parents of three beautiful, healthy babies! The delivery went very well yesterday, and we welcomed into the world:

Dave and I got to see all the babies and give them a kiss after they were born...so surreal and wonderful it seems like a dream! All grandparents, aunts, and uncles were waiting patiently in the lobby to visit, but unfortunately I was in recovery a bit longer than planned and only got to see my mom and dad. Everything was fine, but apparently after giving birth to three babies your body needs a little extra time! Luckily, Dave was able to take everyone up to the NICU to see the babies for the first time!

Sophia and Cameron were on oxygen overnight as a precaution because they had some fluid in their lungs, but my little peanut Evan didn't need any, and as of this morning they are all breathing on their own. Evan and Cameron are able to bottle feed, but Sophia is on a feeding tube right now. They think within a day or two she'll also be able to feed. I was so excited to see them this morning, and felt great except for being a little groggy. I got all set to visit them, walked in Cameron's room, and got hit head on with a wave of dizziness and nausea-I drifted in and out of consciousness for a few minutes until they could safely wheel me back upstairs. I gave the NICU nurses quite a scare (they're used to little sick people not big ones) but after a few more hours of rest I was able to recuperate enough to see and hold them all! They all look healthy and beautiful...we are so blessed and excited!

These are their first portraits from last night, but they have since been taken off a lot of the wires and such...more pictures to come as I can download them!
