Five Weeks Old Today!

Can you believe it-my sweet peas are 5 weeks old today! They are now all eating about 4 oz every 4 hours, and everyone is having more "awake" time every day...especially Cameron. We are having so much fun interacting with them. I got my first taste of being alone with three babies last week...Dave went golfing and I was left to feed them by myself. It went very well, although Evan and Sophia have developed acid reflux, so they are a bit more tricky to feed now.

Dave has been reading about how to "talk" to babies...very amusing to watch.

Cameron is still our "Big Boy"...last Tuesday when the visiting nurse weighed him he was 7 lb 10 oz. I am sure he's about 8 lbs now.

Evan weighed 6 lb. 6 oz, and Sophia was 7 lb. even.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Johnson came to visit with our friend Mardi...what a nice visit!

I get to snuggle all my sweet peas...I dread the day I can't fit them all in my arms! I have the feeling it will be here before I know it!

I've been trying to take them out for short "field trips"...after all we can't keep them cooped up forever. So far Grammy Denier has helped us go to the park and out for a walk downtown. Evan and I took a trip to the new Aldi supermarket, and Sophia had a blast shopping at Target. Cameron has not had a solo trip yet...maybe Daddy can take him golfing! We are still waiting for our Toyota Sienna to go through...the title is in "limbo" and it could be another month-argghhh! Since we can't fit all three in one car, we don't really take them all anywhere except the pediatrician. When we do we have to take two cars, or borrow my dad's Ford Freestlye. I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait until we get our minivan!!!!!!!
