Who Is That In the Mirror?!

So today was the first day I looked in the mirror and thought to myself...who IS that? I think the babies have officially taken over! I know every pregnant woman looks at herself and says "Oh my gosh I got so fat"...and I know I'm not fat-I'm pregnant, but it definitely takes some getting used to! Especially now that the weather is warmer and I want to wear all those cute spring/summer clothes...they just don't look the same on me as they do on the models online! Oh well, it will all be worth it when my babies are chubby and happy just like me!

Thanks to my MIL Missy for getting me some compression stockings-they really do help. My fat bastards have been downsized to "big boned" bastards. The only problem is it takes me about 10 minutes of rolling, tugging, huffing, puffing, and cursing to put them on. They are NOT as easy to put on as they look!

I have finally completed my first successful Craigslist purchase! I found a dresser/changing table that is in great shape-and spent a good 2 hours today sorting, folding, and putting away MORE clothes that the grandmothers gave me. Everything is so tiny and cute I am so excited to see them on the babies! Special thanks to my dad for helping Dave lug it up the stairs last night! Double thanks for the delicious Chinese food he and Laurie brought over-yummo!

I go in Wednesday for my first round of gestational diabetes screening. I've heard such lovely things about the delicious glucose drink I have to take (yeah right) so I am really looking forward to it! If I pass the 1 hour test, I'll go back in a few weeks and take the 3 hour one. Everything else is going okay so far...blood pressure is good, and overall I feel great. I'm keeping my chubby fingers crossed!
