We Get By With a Little Help...

Make a Wish!

The infamous swing contraption after Josh finally figured it out

It takes two-but still no luck!

What would we do without our family?! The original "Moran Clan" came over yesterday to celebrate Dave's birthday and help us get things organized. A few months ago, Uncle Tim came over to help Dave paint. So we had moved all our "crap" from the room that would be the nursery and pretty much threw it in the other guest room. It's been there ever since. So Missy, Luke, Tim, Amy, Josh, and Kady came over to lend a hand. Tim and Dave worked for hours schlepping junk down to the basement (which is the new junk room) and getting the room set up so it at least looks functional. After all, the grandparents are going to need to sleep in an actual bed when they come over to help-it's the least we can do, right?!

The nursery is coming along, a little bit at a time. Dave and Tim put together the last crib, and it kind of set a rush of panic over me when I saw all three cribs in ONE room! Kind of hit home. Dave and I call it our "orphanage" because it really does look a little industrial, but then again, it's the only way all three fit. We obviously did not plan on three little babies when we bought this house.

Grandma Missy brought over a new load of baby goodies-Grandmas are the best! All three have been so generous that I'm beginning to think I won't even need a shower! The closet is almost full already! You know moms, they just can't pass up a sale!

Dave got the best birthday presents ever-an iPod touch and wireless internet router. Now he can enjoy his last "big boy toys" until the babies take over completely. It was a team effort to put together a swing that one of Missy's co-workers had donated. It took Amy and Tim almost half an hour of twisting, pushing, and cursing before they threw their hands up and let Josh take over-who of course got it done in about 5 seconds flat. I swear, is there anything he can't fix?
