I can hardly believe how quickly time has flown by...the babies are a few months away from their first birthday! Things have been getting interesting around here lately...the babies are still not crawling yet, but have figured out how to "roll" around to get what they want. It's pretty darn funny to watch them eye a toy or something, try and crawl, fail miserably, cry, then "log roll" over and get it anyway with a look of satisfaction! Cameron has learned how to "walk" in his walker, so he spends most of the day running circles around the house in it. The first day he figured it out, Daddy tried to put him in his high chair for lunch, and he threw a fit until Daddy put him back in his walker...and chased him around the house with the bowl and spoon. SERIOUSLY!
We are also picking up some bad habits though. The past week Cameron has been out of sorts...crying for hours on end when it's time for bed. He'll start to fall asleep, cry and whine, fall asleep for 20 minutes or so then wake up screaming again. We tried letting him "cry it out" but after two hours, we gave up. He even threw up one night, so not sure if it was a bug or what, but mommy and daddy felt so bad for him (and were sick and tired of running back and forth to the nursery) they let him fall asleep in their bed. BAD IDEA! Now I'm afraid that we've created a monster. He is actually there now, waiting for us to join him. In a few hours, I'll wake up and carry him back to his crib, but until then...I've got another man in my bed. Add it to the list of things I swore I'd never do. I remember before we had kids, I'd listen to my friends' stories and smirk to myself "when I have kids I'll never..." If I could go back in time and slap my smug self silly, I would. That goes for everyone else out there whose thought those words to themselves at one time or another. Forget about it. You'll do it too. Every last thing.

We went to the Crystal Mall for pictures with the Easter Bunny. It was only slightly traumatizing. First disaster was finding out there was ONE elevator for the entire mall, and the triple stroller didn't fit through the door. It was tons of fun carrying three babies down then folding up the stroller and taking it down in the elevator. Blast. Second disaster was giving the babies their first taste of Dairy Queen Blizzard, only to have Cameron gag on it and puke all over himself in the food court. And we wonder why we never leave the house.
Daddy and Sophia in her Easter Sunday best. This dress was actually mine that I wore at my first birthday! My mom had kept it all these years-it's like she knew one day there would be a diva just dying to wear it!
Go Sox! I know it's a horrible picture of Sophia, but the look on her face is priceless! Dare I say she may be a Yankee fan?!
We got their nine month portraits taken last week-granted they're a month late, but whatever. Sophia the Diva REFUSED to smile but we managed to get a couple smirks out of her. My favorite are the individual portraits. We've got some good lookin' kids if I don't mind saying so myself!

They all outgrew the infant carrier car seats, so we had to upgrade to convertibles. Can I just say no one warns you how overwhelming it is to buy a car seat. It feels like you're taking a gamble with your kids' lives if you buy a cheap one...but they can run anywhere from $100-$500! We took the middle ground and bought basic Britax Runabouts. Britax is one of the more expensive brands, but known for safety and reliability. They're like the Honda Accord of car seats.
Cameron jams it out on his Wiggles guitar-I'm hoping he'll take after my dad and get some musical talent!
