Getting Warmer!

I swear...I need to keep a blogging notebook...I always think of all these cute stories and anecdotes but by the time I actually have a chance to sit down and blog...my mind is blank!  Anyway, I can hardly believe in a little over a month, I'll be the mother of three 3-year olds!  We are moving on to bigger adventures...potty training, pre-school, and planning our first sleep over away from home!  Thankfully, I've finally completed my M.Ed. program (YIPPEE) and have a little more time to relax and enjoy all the joys of parenting triplets.  We are playing around with the whole potty-training thing...taking it slow.  Now I know many of my friends and family members have done what's known as the "3 day boot camp" technique, but the way I look at it, this is not going to be fun by any means,so why make it more traumatizing than it has to be?  For a few months they've been "going" before tubby and any other time they ask or seem curious.  None are afraid of it, and two have even gone "poop" on the potty a few times.   They seem interested, but not enough to stay dry without a (frequently) scheduled potty break.  The whole pooping thing is another story.  Even though they have gone a few times, they just can't seem to get the whole concept of "get there before you go".  Evan actually stood there, in the bathroom, right in front of me, and pooped as I was getting the potty seat on.  Obviously we need more time.

Spring has finally reared her pretty little head around here, and we've been enjoying just about every bit of sunshine we can lately.  Unfortunately, with the amount of snow days we've accumulated, I'll be in school until the end of June.  We have big plans this summer, including a friend's wedding that will bring the trio on their first sleep over at Grammy's house!  Of course, we are planning our annual trips to Casco, Maine and Sesame Place.  I can hardly wait!
