29 weeks and holding...at home!

So the doctors finally made up their mind to send me home...thank goodness! Once I was stable, they weren't monitoring or medicating me anymore, so I was just hanging out. Although getting served food on a tray and sleeping in a reclining bed was nice for a while, I really got homesick. If they had told me to stay I would have dealt fine, but of course given the choice wouldn't we all rather be home? The doctors felt comfortable sending me home, so I feel comfortable being here. There is still no change to my cervix, and my contractions have cut down to 3-4 a day. The babies are moving ALL THE TIME, and have certainly dropped...it is very uncomfortable to be on my feet so even if the doctors didn't put me on bed rest, I would have put myself on it. My dog Bella is very happy to have me home, and despite his anxiety, Dave is happy as well. I will continue to see Dr. Starikov each week, and if at any time I feel more contractions, or just have concerns in general, they will readmit me. For now I am taking it one day at a time...
