24 weeks...

No more pencils, no more books....Friday was my official last day at work before my disability/maternity leave. I will return in January of next year. My co-workers have been so great, lending me support and good wishes. they even helped me create a list of names to bring home to David! I really will miss them and my students...but it's time to prepare for an even bigger job-being a mom of triplets. Too bad they don't offer that as a college degree, right!

Tuesday is our ultrasound that will track the babies' growth. I also have my first official appointment with the perintatologist at Women and Infant's Hospital in Providence, where I will deliver. My last OB appointment had nothing but good news...blood pressure was low, I passed my gestational diabetes test, and all three babies had good heartbeats. I hope this one will carry good news as well.

I think Dave and I have FINALLY come to a consensus on names...we have decided to have one set of "first choice" and another set as a backup in case we look at those little faces and realize, "he/she doesn't look like a...". So, don't start the monogramming yet, but...
  • Cameron David (Daddy had to pass on his legacy)
  • Evan Patric (funny spelling is because it is an nod to Mommy)
  • Sophia Jo (this one is a nod to my Poppy Joe Compagnone)
Back-up list shall remain a secret (mainly because we don't have one yet)!

I am really excited for my shower this Saturday...I can't wait to see family and friends that I haven't seen in a long time-including my brother Scott, who I haven't seen since January (he'll be keeping Dave and Grandpa Tim company at my mom's house).

Here are some updated belly pics for you...

Almost 24 weeks...

This belly deserves it's own photo...

  1. Wow, glad to hear you and the babies are doing well! It's awesome that you are getting to take so much time off to be with them. Very cute names by the way :)
